Going beyond the next test.
St. Francis School employs a differentiated curriculum to give students multiple options for acquiring enduring knowledge. Differentiated curriculum challenges both high achievers and emerging learners by incorporating concepts with flexible, small group instruction. It’s not about assigning mountains of homework or teaching to the top 5%. It’s about cultivating the intellectual, physical, social and spiritual development of each child.
We also use the Storyline Method, participate in academic competitions, hone teaching methods through teacher in-services and create educational goals with consideration for the Oregon Department of Education and the Bend-La Pine School District.
We enhance learning with technology. Teachers use SmartBoards, a state-of-the-art educational tool, to integrate information and enrich the educational experience. Parents, the school and students also connect through SIMS, an online, password-protected portal that allows parents to access not only student information such as grades, homework and attendance, but also classroom and school activities, events and announcements.
At St. Francis School, students grow and thrive.
