Scrip Program

The Scrip program has been an ongoing fundraiser program for PSF (Parents of St. Francis) and for the school’s general fund. Each family is required to purchase at least $3,000 of Scrip cards or certificates throughout the year, or to pay a “buy-out fee”.

Scrip is comprised of gift cards or certificates that are purchased in volume at a discount. It is sold to parents at face value and can be used at participating stores. St. Francis School makes a profit between 2% and 15%.

eScrip - Safeway

If you shop at Safeway, you can automatically have a percentage of your purchases go to St. Francis by using your Safeway Club Card. All you need to do, is sign up online at www.escrip.com using the following instructions:

• Sign In. Click on "Register Now".
• Type Group ID #8566864 (for St. Francis of Assisi School)
• Click on "St. Francis of Assisi School". Proceed to next step.
• Provide your Name, Address, etc. (do not have to provide phone/email)
• Register Cards. Provide Safeway Club Card #
• Credit Cards/Retail Cards. No need unless using this card at other stores in the eScrip program (limited in Northwest...Eddie Bauer, Office Max, etc.....for a complete list in NW, refer to “Merchant list”).
• Next Step: You are signed up! eScrip will give you a Supporter ID #, and will ask you for a password if you care to track your monthly totals.

Two more items that are important:

1) Safeway has a few exclusions for which they won’t pay a contribution – gasoline, alcohol and tobacco are the main items. (Go to www.escrip.com, then to “Family of Merchants” for further Safeway information).

2) If you don’t have a Safeway Club Card (or lost the card), contact Safeway at 1-877-SAFEWAY. Make sure Safeway has the same phone number that you are using at checkout stands.

Albertson's Community Partner Card

Albertsons is a little different because of a Community Partners card is used instead of Scrip purchases (i.e. gift cards). Just pick up this card at the school office to use all year, and have the cashier scan the card at time of purchase. We receive a quarterly check for 3% of all purchases. Please turn in your Albertsons receipts at the school with your name affixed in order to receive Scrip credit.

Schoolpop.com

Please utilize this site for your Internet catalog orders. All you need to do is visit www.schoolpop.com and sign up as a “supporter”. When specifying the "organization" you are supporting, please specify either of the following:

• Organization Name: St. Francis of Assisi School
• Organization ID: 0183342

Several merchants are signed up with schoolpop, including Lands End, Dell, LL Bean, Eddie Bauer, Expedia, Office Max and more. If you use the Lands End scrip, you can make the school 17.5%!
