Raising funds. Raising hope.
Fundraising allows St. Francis to offer students the best possible education. In addition to the school auction, we have an Annual Giving Appeal.
Annual Giving Appeal
Our Annual Giving Appeal each fall focuses on the mission of St. Francis of Assisi Parish to support its Parish school. Although participation is voluntary, we invite all school families to look into their hearts—and their wallets—to make a comfortable contribution. All proceeds go directly to the operating budget for the following school year. The goal is to achieve 100% participation which helps in our NEW grant-writing through NCEA.
We also use Scrip to generate funds to enrich our students' education.
Scrip
Scrip is comprised of gift certificates and gift cards for participating local and national retailers. These stores give 2% to 15% of purchases to the school. Using scrip is easy. Just buy scrip at the school office and use it to purchase the goods you normally buy. Each family agrees to purchase $2,500 worth of scrip during the school year, or pay a $250 “buy-out” fee. Remember, scrip is not an extra purchase! It’s just a different way of buying what you’re already buying—a method that brings extra money to our school. It’s a win-win!
